Good morning! We will have a two-hour delay this morning due to snow and visibility. We want to thank the County for having the snow plows clearing the bus routes since early this morning. Good afternoon RAM families. Athletics for the week are as follows: middle school girls basketball will host Sargent at 4:30 today and Thursday they will play at Centauri at 4 o'clock.
High school basketball will host Cripple Creek at 4:30 on Wednesday and Manzanola at 4:30 on Thursday.
HS Wrestling will attend the Valley Classic on January 31 beginning at 9.

The Board of Education received information from CHSAA regarding the ability to change eligibility policy mid-year. Since the Board is not allowed to change eligibility policy until the 2025-26 school year, the Special Meeting tonight is canceled. There will be a community meeting this evening from 4:30-6:00 pm to gather student, staff, and family input regarding the eligibility policy to ensure this policy aligns with the hopes and aspirations of our community.
There will be a Special Meeting of the Board of Education on Tuesday, January 28 at 6:00 pm to discuss the current eligibility policy. Before the special meeting, there will be a community meeting to gather community, staff, and student perspectives about the pros and cons of different eligibility options. This will be a time to hear your thoughts about how you would like Centennial to approach eligibility requirements. The community meeting will begin at 4:30 in the Centennial Library and remain open until the Special Meeting, which begins at 6:00 pm. A link to join the special meeting virtually will be sent out prior to the meeting on Tuesday. Thank you for your support!

Snakes! in the art room!
We are in week 2 of our texture unit and have been exploring the texture of snakeskins by making texture rubbings of rattlesnakes and bullsnakes. Students are turning those textures into snake paper chains to complete our "2025 - Year of the Snake" display. Our Rams have done a great job sharing snake boards and working through some ~squeamish feelings~ about snakes to create some awesome art!

The regular Board of Education meeting will be held on the last Thursday of the month, Thursday, January 30, 2025. The regular meeting was incorrectly placed on the District calendar for Thursday, January 23, 2025. The date has been corrected on the District calendar.
