Our ECE team had an amazing time in Breckenridge, enjoying the beautiful outdoors and strengthening our bonds. Congratulations to Roxann Serna for being named the Positive Athlete AD Award winner for the state of Colorado! We are thrilled to recognize you as one of our state-wide award winners in the 2025 Positive Athlete Colorado program. The seven themes stem from the number of traits of a Positive Athlete (AD)—Optimistic, Puts Team First, Encourages, Respectful, Admits Imperfections, True Heart for Others, and Embraces Service—that make up the How Do You O.P.E.R.A.T.E.? framework. Positive Athlete Colorado has seen tremendous enthusiasm and engagement since its launch in January. More than 440 nominations were received from nearly 200 different high schools across the state of Colorado. Roxann is the only AD who will receive an award from special guest Pro Football Hall of Famer and Positive Athlete Advocate Champ Bailey.

After-School Tutoring Opportunity
We want to let you know that after-school tutoring will be available today and tomorrow for middle and high school students who could benefit from extra academic support before the end of the quarter. If your student needs help catching up on assignments, we encourage them to attend. This is a valuable opportunity to finish the quarter strong!

High school students - This is a reminder of the end of the year field trip taking place THIS THURSDAY, May 22, to Boondocks in Denver.
If your student has signed up to attend, they need to turn in $28 by Tuesday, May 20, to Mrs. Hubbard.
