Good morning students and families, In an effort to lower any risk to or traditional students, staff, and families, the Centennial School Board decided to have all students learn remotely this coming week (11/30-12/3). Here are a few details about what this means for you: 1. Traditional students will Zoom during their regularly scheduled class time on the days they would be in-person. All scheduled remote days for traditional and remote students will follow its regular schedule. For any questions about Zoom class sessions, please reach out to your teacher. 2. Please remember, Zoom instructional time is mandatory. These cannot be missed and students must participate with their cameras on, dressed to attend school, and actively engaging with the learning. Students who miss Zoom meetings are missing the most important part of remote learning- the instructional class time. Now that we have all made the adjustment to these platforms, it is no longer acceptable to only do the assignment. 3. Meals are available for all students, remote and traditional, for pick-up at the school as usual. Meal pick-up times are Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00-11:00. 4. Picture day has been canceled and will be rescheduled. We will notify families of the new date once it is set. We will continue to monitor COVID spread in our county in order to make future decisions that always place the health and well-being of our school community at the forefront.

Good evening Centennial families, At tonight's Board meeting, the Board decided to have students remain on remote learning for the week after Thanksgiving and return to our 1-day a week schedule the following week (Dec. 7/8) in order to keep our campus safe. Thank you, Rams.

Centennial's Thanksgiving Meal is available for pick-up tomorrow from 10:00-12:00 on the East of the school and is free to all remote, traditional, and other community children under 18. Adult meals are also available for $7 each.

Centennial's Thanksgiving Meal will be available for pick-up from 10:00-12:00 on Thursday, November 18, 2020 on the east side of the school. This special meal required the advance purchase of a ticket, but there will be a limited number of meals for people to purchase when they drive up. Be sure to wear your mask and remain in your vehicle when picking up your food.

ATTENTION: The Centennial Early Learning Center (Daycare) will also be closed for the remainder of the week. Thank you for your understanding as we keep our littlest learners safe.

UPDATE: Centennial will be closed to in-person learning tomorrow, Tuesday, November 17. All remote learning will continue as scheduled for the remainder of the week. Superintendent Melster has drafted a letter to the community explaining the possible exposure that occurred today, and the safety precautions we are taking to minimize risk to our school community. His letter will be available on the school app, the school website, Facebook, and will be sent out through Alma. Thank you.

URGENT- To ensure the safety of students and families, Liz' bus route will not run this afternoon. Please, pick-up your child at the school if your child rides this bus. Additionally, if your child is in Kindergarten, first grade, seventh , or eighth grade. Please come pick them up. Contact the school if you have issues picking up your student. More information will be sent to our families shortly.

Thanksgiving Meal is scheduled for: Thursday, November 19, 2020 Drive through between 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Anyone under the age of 18 will get a meal for free.
