When students do not wear their masks properly, they put other students at risk. During this surge in our community, students who refuse to wear a mask properly will be asked to go home for the day or leave practice, so we can try to keep students in the classroom and participating in sports.

Centennial is extending remote learning for the rest of the week. We will return to in-person learning on Monday, January 24. Please, call the school with any questions.

Good evening! Remember, masks are required while on campus or participating in sports. Be sure it is well-fitting, covers your nose and mouth, and provides the best possible protection. Cloth masks are not as effective against the omicron variant. Wear a surgical or KN95 mask when possible.

Please reference pictures of the individuals on the school website.

On January 17, 2022 at approximately 3:30 a.m. Centennial School experienced a burglary of equipment and tools totaling over $5,000.00. Two individuals along with a dog were captured by school cameras and are considered suspects in the breaking and entering and burglary. Centennial School District is offering a reward up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of these suspects. Please contact the district at 719-672-3403 with any information you may have that will lead to the identification of these individuals.

Students returning to school after an isolation or quarantine should test to make sure they are negative before being on campus. We provide testing for students, so schedule your test if you haven’t already. We also offer weekly testing. Give us a call for details.

Good evening,
As a reminder before we return to in-person learning: if your child has any symptoms, please keep them home. Even small symptoms like a runny nose or just feeling off can be the early signs of COVID. With the rapid spread of the Omicron variant, we all need to pay close attention and not send students to school when feeling ill. Thank you!
