Check out these awesome photos from our 3rd-grade adventure at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and Denver Zoo on April 3-4, 2024.
What an incredible experience for all our 3rd graders as they embarked on a camp-in adventure in the Mile High City! At the Denver Museum, they had the opportunity to see and observe artifacts from different exhibits, engage in hands-on activities, and examine clues from artifacts to visualize how Colorado looked millions of years ago. Observing animals from different continents at the Denver Zoo was equally enlightening. Our 3rd graders witnessed firsthand that there’s a bigger adventure beyond our town of San Luis!
We extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported our GoFundMe drive, our school Board, our school administrators, teaching and support staff for making this field trip a success, and to all our 3rd-grade parents for their trust and confidence. We are truly grateful to each and every one of you!
