Good evening! Excel has notified consumers that there will be planned power outages to avoid fire danger due to high winds on Wednesday and Thursday. Centennial has a solar system, so we anticipate the disruption to be minimal to learning on campus those days. However, please plan for these outages in your homes. One report said that outages could last from 8 AM to 6 PM both days. The Alamosa Citizen reported that outages would begin at 11 AM. Please keep an eye out out for any messages from Excel energy.
