SAN LUIS VALLEY - Governor Polis announced on Friday that Colorado’s COVID-19 vaccination phase framework has been updated, and we will be moving to Phase 1B.3 on Friday, March 5, 2021. San Luis Valley vaccine providers are coordinating how to best meet the needs of our residents in Phase 1B.3. We will share more information about this later in the week. Phase 1B.3 will include: 

  • People age 60 and older

  • Frontline essential workers in grocery and agriculture

  • People age 16-19 with two or more high risk conditions

 

Depending on vaccine supply, we hope to move to Phase 1B.4 sometime in the second half of March. Among others, Phase 1B.4 will include: 

  • People age 50 and older

  • Higher education

  • Frontline essential workers in food/restaurant services

  • People age 16-19 with two or more high risk conditions
